Letter from Fuse-sensei

Pleased to meet you!
I could not send an email to your personal address, so I responded this way
(Clown notes: I included my email in the message I sent him on ncode.syosetsu.com)

At the moment, since there are no plans to publish the novel in the United States, and as long as it is limited to the web novel, I will give your free and public translation my tacit consent. Do note that this is my statement as the author, and should the publisher have problems with it, the decision might be different. I am not transferring any rights to you, so please continue with the above in mind.
(Clown notes: So basically, continue as you like until the publisher gets upset. So as long as the publisher does not contact me or the author does not change his mind, I am now translating this work completely legally.)

Since fans can enjoy (my work) as a result, I am not planning on making noise about it; so, everyone, enjoy!

We can now continue the project without fearing a subpoena from the Japanese government!

    1. I honestly do not think that many webnovel authors mind free fan translations of their WNs – getting published first in Japan as an LN and getting enough interest from western publishers for a translation is a long stretch, which most (if you look at ratio of translated to non-translated LNs) authors do not make – so why raise waves over free publicity?

  1. Hi my name is Nickolas or nick what ever works I like what you did going to get the author permission to stop subpoena from the Japanese government and I was thinking how about we help the author to get the novel selling in the U.S I bet the publishing company could love it I’m not saying the company didn’t think of doing that the biggest problem for them maybe to find people to translate the novel and promote it but the book did get put in to a manga so it’s going somewhere amine maybe and why stop there there’s million more novels out dear and fans that would love to translate and promote the novel they love AND THE BIG PART OF THIS IS THAT WE’LL GET PAID $$$$$ it’ll be faster translation and better editing when moneys involved I’m Willing to invest but I’m not some rich kid I living my life check to check if I can make some money doing what I love will I’m going for it just putting that out there 😃 you can email 📧 me nickolasveitch3@gmail.com
